MasterCard Foundation to Launch e-learning Initiative at Makerere University
Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme is set launch an electronic learning initiative at Makerere University on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The launching event will be held at the Yusuf Lule Central Teaching Facility Auditorium starting at 9:00am to 2:00pm.

The Guest of Honour will be Prof. Mary Okwakol, the Executive Director National Council for Higher Education.
The Moderator of the panel is Assoc. Prof. Paul Birevu Muyinda MCF e-learning Initiative Coordinator under the theme, “Opportunities for Open Distance and e-learning.”
Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program e-learning Initiative addresses the disruption to learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will strengthen scholars program partner universities to deliver high-quality and inclusive online instruction and provide virtual support to all students.
The partner Universities include Arizona State University and United States International University-Africa in line with the Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning in ICT.
The programme will as well support the development of community of practice in e-learning.
